Welcome to the LVMS 2025 Track Season!

Please pay close attention to the TEAMAPP messages for any changes.
Track is a unique sport with many athletes and various events to compete in. Because of this, some athletes may not qualify to compete in every meet, as we are limited to certain numbers for each event.

*Coaches will determine the best events for athletes based on times and performances.
*Most of our practices will occur during the athletic class period at the middle school.
1st track practice will be Monday, February 17 *Monday and Tuesdays we will practice after school at the HS Track:
Only those athletes in jumps, throws, hurdles, or relays for that week’s track meet will be asked to attend after school practice at the HS.
*We will provide bus transportation to the HS for practices.
*Athletes must be picked up from the HS by 5:45pm.
*Athletes MUST meet in the visitor stands on practice days. MS athletes who play around, or get in the way of the HS athletes will be asked to leave and will more than likely not be asked to come back.
**If you are currently participating in an extracurricular outside of school, such as club/select/rec sports, and are interested in competing on the track team, please speak with a track coach before the season starts and verify your availability for meets so we can plan accordingly. We will work with your schedule but the expectation is that you will attend the district meet if you qualify.
